Mexican Grackle Nose Band

The Mexican nose band is specifically designed to discourage a horse from crossing it’s jaw.

This nose band, also known as a figure of eight is manufactured in the Mexican design whereby the poll piece is attached with a small ring onto the nose band section.

This allows for precise fit adjustment on individual horses, ensuring that the nose band works correctly.

The nose band height is adjustable on one side only, but it can be used on ergonomic bridles that allows the nose band to run over the top of the poll piece, alleviating pressure on the horse’s sensitive poll area.

In addition the nose band can also be fitted to more traditionally styled bridles featuring plain poll pieces.
