This Gold Medal hunting breastplate is made from good quality leather and is finished with stainless steel fittings. This popular tack item combines a martingale and breastplate into a single, easy to use piece of equipment. The neck strap follows the diagonal line of the horses shoulder, ensuring the horses shoulder is free to move naturally and making it more comfortable for the horse than a traditional work breastplate. Although a running martingale attachment is supplied with this breastplate, it can easily be substituted with a standing, elastic or bib martingale attachment according to a horses individual needs. Generally used for showjumping, eventing and recreational riding.
